![]() ![]() ![]() SSP quality is tracked and measured using combinations of unit, functional, integration, performance, regression, dynamic, and static analysis tests. Renesas has established a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) process for the SSP to cover the necessary Testing and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Learn the functions of each SSP component here. A layered architecture enables developers to write their application with the Application Framework using common APIs, or by directly connecting to the device driver level as needed. SSP components are tightly integrated, optimized, tested, documented, and maintained by Renesas. Version 4 will also introduce enhanced searching capabilities including the new spacial search tool, allowing you to access data and files by searching its spatial coordinate or address.Synergy Software Package (SSP) Components The customisable workflow engine enables you to track project progress, approve and review documents, ensure documents are properly processed before issuing and more. New to 12d Synergy will also be the Workflow Engine, allow you to manage project workflows through it’s various phases. Version 4 will include advanced CAD management capabilities for BricsCAD, AutoCAD, Civil3D and Sheetset Manager (as well as other packages like Map3D, Plant3D etc). Version 4ġ2d Synergy Version 4 is due to be released in July 2018. Version 3 also saw the introduction of Connectors, you could now import from CSV to draw in contact information, and 12d Synergy integrated with accounting and project management packages such as Xero, MYOB, Abtrac, WorkflowMAX.Įmail management saw further enhancements such as a drag and drop zone, an improved ribbon bar for ease of use and email attachments could be managed from the plugin.ĬAD plugins were further developed for major CAD applications including AutoCAD and BricsCAD. 12d Synergy ‘ Data Sync’ establishes a system which pushes the data out to the tablets as well as drawing it back into the central data base as required. This feature was client driven by the NorthConnex project, in large projects using a central data model, there can be issues with transferring data to and from staff using 12d Field and other tablets. This feature was particularly popular among large civil engineering consultants, major infrastructure projects and joint ventures.ĭata Syncing was introduced for contractors in large construction projects. The FRS enabled efficient worksharing across multiple offices or job sites. Version 3 would prove to be the most successful release to date, taking the 12d Synergy user tally to over 3,000 in the Australia & New Zealand markets.įile Replication Server (FRS) was the major ticket item. In 2016 Version 3 was released at the 12d International Conference in Brisbane, Australia. This is additional to other industry products such as AutoCAD and BricsCAD. ![]() Beyond 12d Model, 12d Synergy could manage other packages such as TUFLOW, XPSWMM and SPACE GASS. Version two focused on managing a broader range of geospatial packages by providing users with an ability to manage folder-based data sets, unlike any other data management product on the market. 12d Synergy continued to take on common data and document management problems in the Civil Engineering and Surveying industry. In October 2013 12d Synergy Version 2 went into BETA phase, and was released in 2014. The product was received well at the conference and the adoption of the system began to take shape, mainly for email management and office document control. In 2011 the first version of 12d Synergy was completed, the system was then released at the 12d International User Conference in 2012, with the first demo being shown to around 400 civil designers, engineers and surveyors. The initial concept was first developed in 2006 as a source control platform for 12d Solutions developers. The system provides users with a platform to centralise data, with the aim to improve efficiency, data integrity, worksharing and collaboration. 12d Synergy is a data and document management system developed by Australian civil engineering software developer, 12d Solutions. ![]()
